Fall in love with the problems not your idea!

Whether you agree with the statement or not Covid-19 has given us reason to be a critical thinker, believe that. Looking back to how we all started the year, hoping for a positive vibe, breaking new grounds and turning the tables around, in business, relationship, finance, health and so on but Covid-19 happened.

What did we learn from that? You cannot continue to love that single idea and think you will change the world, take for example, you have a restaurant and your solution is to solve the issue of hunger by providing food to people when they come to your place, now lockdown measures prevented people from going out and your restaurant was closed, your idea of feeding the hungry people at your restaurant just failed, so what next?

Now the question you should start asking yourself at the point is to go back to the problem statement, what problem am I trying to solve? Definitely it will be to feed people who are hungry, next question, are people still hungry?, next question, will Covid-19 allow me to open up fully anytime soon? If your answer is no, then will your business still be valuable if you can no longer solve the problem through the restaurant? I think at this point you have just realized that it is no longer about falling in love with that your restaurant you first saw as the ideal solution to the problem you want to solve anymore.

This goes for every social entrepreneur and business, as you journey through life to be the solution provider in your field, be adaptable, we must be careful not to let our current appetites steal away any chance we might have for a future feast.

Lesson: “Life and business is like the changing seasons. You cannot change the seasons, but you can change yourself. Therein lies the opportunity to live an extraordinary life–the opportunity to change yourself” and “Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems, wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.”– Jim Rohn

So, I repeat again Fall in love with the problems not your idea!
