Leading in Interesting Times

Hillary Clinton said "Crisis is too much an opportunity to waste".

I read this tweet over and over again, which has already gain attention of most Nigerian youth and rest of the world. I asked myself what are the rest of the world seeing about Nigeria that our politicians are not seeing?

Is Giant of Africa we are so called really a myth or true. I don't think it is accidentally that we are the most populous black nation and the rest of Africa and the world believes if Nigeria as the big brother in Africa can get her development right, the rest of Africa will thrive faster.

What I know is that leadership are needed to solve leadership problem or adaptive problems not technical problems. In Nigeria today most of what the government have failed to manage overtime are crisis of economy, identify crisis, educational crisis, health crisis, ethnicity crisis and diversity crisis but I say leadership is the fundamental of all crisis.

Leader's have capacity to mobilize group of resources to attain a define objective, look interesting times are never going to come to an end. It comes with double edge sword moment (with opportunities and hard times). Leader's who will lead in interesting times are those that adapt to situation in interesting times and not truncate.

What I have seen played out in the last two weeks and which has always been the major problems was capacity to lead. However, this is most proud moment to be a Nigerian youths, showing the world what it means to speak with one voice and purpose.

Amidst the crisis the tech industry keep seeing a 30% increase across the globe, and Nigerian youths are saying to the government, end bad governance and police brutality. Nigerian youths are thriving and at this point we can't allow the bad governance to truncate our process but rather we shall continue to develop because we know that leading in interesting time requires us to be on a global stage and have a global standard because the world is a global village.

In conclusion, the quality of human being that you are makes you the person you become in interesting times. Your capacity is your resilience, be self rebuking, access yourself and know your core values. Fear God, know that you are accountable to God and your siblings are your first laboratory leadership.
